As you make your way onto our campus, you will see a friendly group of people ready to encourage, help, and enjoy life with you. There is no dress code and you will see most people dressed casually for all of our church activities. Our normal Sunday morning schedule consists of Sunday School classes for all ages, as well as a Young Adult Small Group, all of which meet at 10:00am on Sunday Morning. Our Worship starts at 11:00am in the Sanctuary. This service is led by our Worship Team and is a purposeful blend of hymns and modern music, followed by an expository sermon by our pastor.
Wednesday nights is when you will see the most life in our church. We have Prayer Time led by our Dr. Harry Smith @ 5:15pm (while AWANA is in session and other times at 6:00pm). Everyone is invited to attend. This is followed by our AWANA Clubs with dinner for everyone at 5:30, and our clubs running from 6:00-7:30. During the month of July there will NOT be any adult small group study.
We are an autonomous local church that affiliates with the Dan Valley Association, The Baptist State Convention of NC, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We are a congregational church that practices meaningful church membership, understanding that each of our members holds responsibility within Scripture (Matthew 18:15-17; 1 Timothy 5:17-20). If you are interested in baptism and/or church membership, the pastor is always happy to talk with you. To help with this process, the church offers a Discover Ruffin Stacey Class several times a year prior to the morning worship service.
